Shipping Policies

Orders are processed and shipped out normal business days Monday through Friday. Orders are normally shipped out via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Ground shipments usually take between 15-35 business days to arrive depending on your location. 2nd Day and Next Day shipping is available at an additional cost during checkout. Cutoff time for 2nd Day and Next Day orders is 3PM EST. Orders received after the cutoff time will be processed the next day.

We make all efforts to process and ship all orders placed by 3PM EST the SAME DAY. In some cases, it may take up to 48-72 hours for us to ship your order. If for some reason we cannot ship your order within 72 hours, we will contact you and let you know the expected ship date of your order. If this date is not acceptable, Buyer will have the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund. USPS delivers in most areas Monday through Saturday, while FedEx and UPS deliver Monday through Friday. Saturday delivery service for UPS and FedEx expedited orders can be arranged for an additional fee, please contact us before placing your order so we can arrange for Saturday delivery. Orders placed on weekends and Federal Holidays will be processed on the next business day.

 We currently offer FREE SHIPPING on all US domestic orders. This free shipping offer is only valid within the 50 US states, and does not apply to international orders. Please note that packages that ship on Friday with overnight delivery will be delivered on Monday, unless Saturday service has been requested in advance. 

The shipping methods below reflect the actual shipping time your order will take to arrive after it has been shipped from our warehouse, and does not include processing time. While we do make every effort to process and ship orders out the same day, as mentioned above, it may take up to 1-2 days to process your order. Special order and custom items may take additional time to ship, and will be indicated on the product page.

Once your package has shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number. In some rare instances, some oversized orders may greatly exceed flat-rate shipping rates, and we may contact you at our discretion to discuss alternate shipping methods, or additional charges. If you do not agree to these additional shipping charges, you may cancel your order, with no restocking fees or order cancellation fees.

SIGNATURE REQUIRED

Please note, ALL ORDERS over $300 are shipped with SIGNATURE REQUIRED service. This means that someone at your address will have to SIGN for the package. If you miss the first delivery attempt, you may be able to pick up the package from your local shipping facility, or have the delivery driver re-attempt delivery.

DISCREET PACKAGING

All packages shipped from Specialoutlook are discreetly packaged in a plain brown or white box. The return shipper will show either as “Shipping Department” or “Sense Electronics”, with no indication of the contents inside the package. If you need further discretion, please contact us before placing your order.

SHIPPING ADDRESS

In order to prevent and combat potential fraud, we generally can only ship to your confirmed address on file with your credit card company. If you plan on shipping to an address OTHER than your billing address, you MUST have this address listed as an “alternate address” on file with your credit card company. This is a simple and easy process to do – just call the number on the back of your credit card, and ask that an alternate address be listed. Orders received with a different shipping and billing address may require additional processing and undergo additional security screening before shipment, and may be cancelled at our discretion.  Orders paid via PayPal MUST be shipped to a confirmed address on file with PayPal. This is to protect both you and our company against fraudulent transactions. If your address is unconfirmed, we may contact you to verify your address, or may cancel the order, at our discretion. INSURANCE

All items and packages shipped are fully insured at no additional cost to you.

BACKORDERED ITEMS

Some of our items are occasionally backordered. We make all efforts to inform you if a product is backordered before you make your purchase. In the event we discover a product is backordered after you have placed an order, we will contact you and let you know the item is backordered, as well as an estimate of when the product will be available to ship. At this point, Buyer may choose to wait for the item to come back in stock, or cancel the order, with no cancellation penalty.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

In addition to shipping to the United States and Canada, we also ship internationally. International shipping rates vary by country. In order to view your country’s shipping rate, enter your country and postal code into the Cart page. All international orders require a phone number where you can be reached. International orders must be paid for in advance, and may require an alternate payment method such as Bank Wire or Western Union.  

International customers may be required by their local government to pay import duties or customs fees for their purchase, subject to local laws. These fees are mandated by your government and are paid directly by the customer upon receipt of their shipment, and are in addition to shipping costs charged by our company. These additional fees are the sole responsibility of the customer, and go to your local government, not to our company. We are not able to calculate or estimate these fees, and Buyers are encouraged to contact their relevant local government agencies for an estimate of these import duties/fees.

SALES TAX

If you live within the state of Indiana, you will be required to pay sales tax of 7.00%. All other orders shipped outside of Indiana will not be charged sales tax.


SHIPPING ERRORS
We take extreme care and caution to make sure that your order is processed, packed, and shipped correctly. If you believe that the items shipped to you are incorrect, please notify us immediately. If we determine that an error has been made, we will take steps to rectify the situation immediately, at our expense. Order discrepancies must be reported to us within 5 business days of receipt of order.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders are normally processed and shipped within 24-48 hours of order date. In the event that you place an order and need to cancel it, you must contact us immediately at 86-18511490633 and/or via the contact page on our website. Order cancellations are only allowed if the order has not yet been processed and packed by the warehouse. Cancelled orders are subject to a 5% Cancellation Fee if your Credit Card or PayPal account has been billed/charged for the order.

Return Policy

RETURNS FOR CREDIT – Due to the unique nature of the items that we offer, our products can often be used for short-term applications or one-time use, and no longer needed or wanted. Because of this, some items are deemed “non-returnable”, unless the product is defective. Items not falling under the “non-returnable” policy are subject to the following policy: 

    • Unopened items may be returned within 7 days of receipt for full credit
    • Opened items in new/unused condition with no signs of wear can be returned within 14 days of receipt for credit and a 20% restocking fee will apply to cover the costs of processing the return
    • After 14 days, all sales are final, there are no returns, and the manufacturer’s warranty applies
    • Items returned without all of the original accessories, parts, and pieces may be assessed a restocking fee of 25% or up to the actual value to replace the missing/damage components.
    • NOTE: Shipping fees are non-refundable 

 In some situations where we don’t allow returns for credit, we may allow for an exchange. If you receive a damaged product from us please see the Defective Items policy below.  If an item qualified for and received free shipping and is returned for credit or refund, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund amount, in addition to any applicable restocking fees, as mentioned above.EXCHANGES – At our sole discretion, we may allow certain items to be exchanged for store credit for other items in our store. This will only be permitted if the original item is in 100% unused condition. Once an item has been opened, has had the product seal broken, or has fingerprints, scratches, or other signs that the buyer has benefited from the use of the product, we will not be able to accept returns or exchanges for that item.NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS – Certain items that we sell are not able to be returned for any reason (unless defective). These items include body-worn cameras such as hats, glasses, and watches. Also, hidden camera and bug detectors, and activated GPS tracking devices are not returnable, as well as software-based products such as computer monitoring and cell phone monitoring products. Below is a complete list of non-returnable products: 

    • Products that directly touch or contact the body (ie. hats, glasses, watches, etc)
    • GPS Tracking Devices that have been opened or activated 
    • Camera and bug detection devices
    • Opened or activated software products
    • Listening or hearing devices
    • Special order or custom items
    • Any items that show wear, use, or evidence that buyer has benefited from use
    • Any items that have been modified, changed, or altered in any way

DEFECTIVE ITEMS – All of our products go through rigorous quality-control testing procedures to ensure that all items are up to our strict quality standards. In the event that you receive a product from us that is defective on arrival, we will do everything within our power to replace it with a working product as soon as possible. If your unit is defective, please contact us immediately so that we can confirm the unit is defective, and then initiate our warranty process.

There are absolutely no returns without prior authorization and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. Any packages received without an RMA# will be refused. Any non-defective authorized returns are subject to a 20% Restocking Fee, unless item is being exchanged for another item in our store, in which case we may waive the restocking fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

 UNDELIVERABLE/REFUSED PACKAGES – In the event that an order shipped is returned to us due to being undeliverable or by being refused, a $25 returned package processing fee will be imposed, and will be deducted from refund given. Original shipping cost will also be deducted from total refund.  If you have any questions about our return/exchange policies, please contact us before purchase.
